We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Key Account Manager to nurture and expand relationships with our strategic customers, ensuring their needs are met and that we continue to meet and exceed their expectations.
As the Global Key Account Manager at Dellner Glass Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our key customer accounts on a global scale. You will serve as the primary point of contact, understand their unique needs, and collaborate with our inhouse cross-functional teams to deliver customer projects and drive growth within these accounts.
- Account Management: Develop and execute account strategies for key customers to achieve our growth targets. Maintain a deep understanding of each customer’s business objectives and industry trends.
- Customer Engagement: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Act as a voice of customer within the organization.
- Lead Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify opportunities for value-added services and solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings to meet customer requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customer and with the support of our lawyer services to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals and profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, project management and engineering, to deliver seamless and exceptional service to customers.
- Global Account Planning: Develop and maintain account plans that outline growth strategies, milestones, and action items for global key accounts.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse account performance, revenue, and profitability. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns, issues, or escalaƟons promptly and effectively. Ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Market Insights: Keep yourself on-track about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. Use market insights to identify growth potential within key accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
- Proven experience (10+ years) in global key account management within rail sector
- Strong understanding of international business dynamics and cultural sensitivities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
