Dellner Percy Lane, sister company of Dellner Romag, has been awarded DIN 6701 (Parts 1-4) Class A1 certification. This approval is for bonding safety critical rail vehicle parts which covers applications where there is a risk of endangering passengers due to part failure in use.
The DIN 6701 A1 rating, certified by TBBCert, has been achieved for the Tamworth facility, where Dellner Percy Lane designs and manufactures metal frames and composite parts, as well as assembled interior units for passenger train interiors and other rolling stock. Attaining the top level (A1) approval enables Dellner Percy Lane to bond any product required in a rail vehicle under any of the four DIN 6701 A1-3 and Z type classifications. Safety critical products needing A1 approval that are manufactured and supplied by Dellner Percy Lane, include emergency detrainment door systems, bodyside windows and windscreens.
